Admit it. Most of us rely on Vogue, ELLE, InStyle, and etc. to tell us what the trends are, right? But by the time you get to know the trends, what you think is "In" is now "Out." I come here to tell you that fashion, for real is... Well I come her to tell you what fashion for real is. Take Vogue for example. (No offense Vogue) Some trends last a long time, but those one week trends, you gotta stay on your toes to catch up.
So the first question is: How to stay on your toes.
Most of us have found it reliable to check Vogue every morning, to make sure you're still on top of fashion. I now, I know. It's not like we're ultra-rich and can do whatever we want with our money to look like our fashion icons, right? But that's another question. So this is how Vogue does it: you scan closely at all the new pictures of your fave stars, and print them, cut them out, and paste them on your inspiration board. Inspiration board. Right. (take notes please) So your fave stars won't want everyone copying them, you have to be unique. So take your stars' clothes, and mix and match them until you've found the perfect makeup, hair, and outfit. to make it easier, I cut all the part off, like paperdoll-wise. Hair for Hair, tops for tops, and so on and so on. Once you've found your perfect outfit, work piece by peice until you've got the whole outfit down. But what if it's already "Out" by the time I'm done? Simple solution: take it back "In."
How to have style on a tight budget.
I know we aren't all as rich as Anne Hathaway, Eva Longoria Parker, Kierra Knightley, or Jennifer Aniston. We're just middle class people, working to live, living to work, working to pay for bills and magazines, and clothes and the such. I won't waste your time doing this, but you can sure DIY one, right? Or you can go to the seamstress. DIY is the cheapest answer I can give you, unless you want only designer name-brands. Then I can't help you with your money problems. It's your problem. But you can set goals like only one outfit a month.
How to set the correct goals
If you're a shopaholic, I can only tell you one thing. Little by little does the trick. Don't go overboard and say, only two outfits per year. Go slowly. If you buy one outfit per week, shorten it to one outfit each two week period of time. Go slowly, until you reach your big goal, which is best to be one outfit per month.

You can tell someone knows they have style when they're dressed in coordinating outfits, and aren't afraid to show it. They hold their heads high, but not too high in the snotty category. More like as in confidence. They tend to have good posture, sometimes slouching a little to have that signature sassy look. You know, legs 4 inches apart, weight usually on the right leg, hands on hips, head up high-ish? So now you know what my blog's about. It's about being yourself, following your dreams, creating you own style. I know it sounds cheesy, but I'll show you what I mean, where to shop, and what fashion actually works. This is Fashion For Real. Some fashion only work on models these tips are tried and true.
